BLOG SERIES
Jan 27th, 2026 - About me
A little about me and how I started Cuterie & Graze. Over the years of adulthood, I have loved to feed people. I take joy in feeding others and watching the joy they get from good food. For over 30 years have worked in the corporate environment and with recent corporate strategic changes with the last company I was with, I was forced to retire. Over the last year I had started Cuterie & Graze on the side and had been working it on the weekend and just getting my name out into the community. With the recent retirement, C&G has become my full time focus to build the name and the business.
Feb 20th, 2026 - Podcast
February 11th, 2026 I worked with a professional videographer Lakeshore Video – George Niksch to produce my podcast to promote the business. Let me tell you, that was an experience well worth my time. I was so scared to be on camera and he made me feel so comfortable and made me forget about the camera while we were talking. Talking about C&G is fun for me. I am told all the time that when I talk about it, my passion come out. I will let you be the judge of that for yourself. To watch the full video: click here
March 5, 2026 - Building the Business
Today has been a bit of a whirlwind. I reached out to a venue that I know, at least I thought I knew well. Back story, on Aug 16, 2014, I got married to the love of my life (2nd marriage), I know he is my person. We got married at this venue (Avalon Manor). Beauitiful venue, AMAZING FOOD and just a wonderful experience. Fast forward to today. The venue is under new ownership, so I thought why not reach out and see if there is any possible way to fit into their space. The worst they can tell me is no, we do in house catering. I have been told this a lot over the past few months. So today I meet with the new owners and find out that they will entertain a possible partnership to provide day of food in the bridal suite. Yay for me and the possibility of working with this amazing venue. Then while in the meeting, I get a call from an organizer from 1 million cups. If you have never heard of them, look them up. I was invited to be a presenter. (This will help me tremedously in getting out of my comfort zone and with public speaking).
